RUSSELL'S TEAPOT COMIC STRIPS
by Chaz Braman |
Russell's Teapot is a quirky comic strip based on a quote by Bertrand Russell about believing in God being just as ridiculous as believing that a teapot is revolving around the sun. And if you can't prove Russell's teapot isn't in orbit in space, one which is too small to be detected by even the most powerful of telescopes, than you have no business saying it doesn't exist no matter how silly it sounds. Russell of course was using a sarcastic analogy because Christians constantly assert if you can't prove something doesn't exist than it possibly exists and supercedes the scientific method. But this logic, or lack of logic, applies to any claim that cannot be disproven--invisible pink unicorns, leprechauns, fairies, Zeus and so forth.
Here's a preview of Russell's Teapot. More can be found at RussellsTeapot.com and I've provided a link to the archives at the bottom of this selection. |

I decided not to reduce these comics down to fit this page layout.
Instead each one will open in a new window.
Just close the window when you're done reading and move on to the next strip.
