Man, if it weren’t for this contract I have with Matt Newton I wouldn’t be posting such an awful comic strip. This is just wrong. What was I thinking hiring him for Freethunk?

Again please refer all complaints to comicblasphemy.com. I believe there’s some fine print in our contract that if there is enough complaints I can cancel the contract and sue Matt for damages, so CC me on any emails.

I would say this is just as good of an explanation as any other for how Jesus got on that cross.

Okay, let’s face it. Matt Newton is a twisted fuck. I asked him for a Valentine Comic Strip and this is the result. If I believed in karma this would be payback for all the times I submitted my own borderline acceptability type cartoons to my own clients.

But you should see the first one he submitted! If you think this one is cynical that one had to be worse. I think he posted it on his site.

With that said, we will continue to humor Matt Newton but let’s realize there’s something wrong with him. I believe if he weren’t a cartoonist relieving himself of all the sick humor in his brain onto paper, he would require therapy.

Matt Newton is going to be a regular contributor to the Freethunk Blog. I got him roped into giving us some premieres of his comic strips before you can see them anywhere else.

His sense of humor is much like mine. Hmm, maybe worse than mine. Lowbrow but fun. He will offend some freethinkers and entertain others, it all depends on your taste.

I will be trying to provide a variety of comics on the Freethunk Blog but ultimately comics are quick funnies and not high art. I’m sure if you’re a comics fan and a freethinker you can find some humor postings that you like.
